Jill Dentith Consulting supports organisations to:
- Understand their corporate responsibilities and enables them to establishing robust governance frameworks
- Prepare themselves for external and internal assessments including baseline assessments, policies and procedure development and review, conducting mock “confirm and challenge” sessions and state of readiness assessments
- Use the project management approach to identifying the issues, review the options and make the changes
- Work through the challenges and opportunities presented by the changes to the health and social care system
- Work across the changing landscape of partnerships including those between health, local government and the third sector
- Develop a more strategic approach
- Develop general management capacity and capability by providing short term support and intervention programmes
Jill herself has over 30 years experience of working in the National Health Service (NHS), the majority of this time at senior or executive level. She has been Company Secretary for Primary Care Trusts in Sheffield, with turnovers in excess of £1 billion. More recently she has worked as a management consultant for a number of NHS organisations and a charitable body. Projects have included supporting GPs through Care Quality Commission authorisation, managing the transition agenda for a local cluster of five Primary Care Trusts and developing a strategic approach to health and wellbeing for a charitable organisation.
She has a Masters degree in Public Service Management and other qualifications in management, finance and vocational subjects. She has a track record for delivery, actively seeks new opportunities and challenges, and is stimulated by the changing environment.
Jill is Deputy Chair / Lay Member on the Governing Body of a local Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and also chairs the Audit Committee. The CCG was authorised successfully from 1 April 2013 with no conditions.
