General Management Support
Jill Dentith Consulting has experience of:
- Managing budgets of £7.5m (£0.6m pay and £6.9m non pay)
- Managing and rationalising over 50 premises in an estates portfolio including compliance with health and safety regulations and establishing and managing contracts with third parties to provide facilities management services
- A track record for establishing and delivering effective communications including managing a communications team, proactive and reactive media management and PR. Experience of managing the information governance processes and disclosures against Freedom of Information requests and data protection issues
- Management of both a human resources department and development and management of a number of teams including staffing structures within a cost envelope, recruitment and selection, handling difficult staffing issues including employment tribunals and trade union relations. A trained assessor for Agenda for Change, the NHS system for assessing job grades and rates of pay, and conducting and presenting workplace hearings
- Skills in managing customer care services and reviewing quality issues, supporting complainants and staff, sharing learning and implementing change
- Emergency planning including business continuity planning, managing major disasters, representing primary health care at multi agency Gold Command. Participated in Director on call rotas and responded to out of hours calls 24/7
- Effectively chairing meetings and contributing to the meeting process from both a management and lay perspective
- Skills in contract negotiations
